<div itemprop="description">DIPALO, Alfred Richard <br /> <br />October 31, 1934 - March 14, 2014 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Alfred Richard Dipalo passed away peacefully on Friday, March 14, 2014 at South Health Campus. Alf was born at home on October 31, 1934 and was raised in Calgary. He attended Western Canada High School, followed by SAIT and became an Electrical Draftsmen at The City of Calgary for over thirty-five years. He married Patricia in 1955, and had his two sons - Tony and Rob. Alf was an avid hunter and fisherman, spending time in Kananaskis country, the west coast of British Columbia, and especially Duck Lake, Montana. Alf is survived by his wife Trudy; his son Rob (Wendy); granddaughter Naomi; his brother Victor; and Trudy&rsquo;s children, Penny, Debbie (Stan), Brian (Carol); and grandchildren, Roz (Cory), Lenay (Kenny), and Krissy (Nick). He was predeceased by his first wife Patricia; son Tony; sisters, Rose, Irene, Evelyn; and brothers, John and Raymond. Those who would like to celebrate Alf&rsquo;s life, may join his family and friends at LEYDEN&rsquo;S CHAPEL OF REMEMBRANCE (corner of 17th Avenue &amp; 2nd Street SW) on Thursday, March 20, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Canadian Cancer Society or The Heart &amp; Stroke Foundation of Canada.
