Clifford Caplette, of Calgary, passed away on Tuesday, September 17, 2013 at the age of 89. Cliff is survived by five children, Carol (Brian), Robert, Terrence, Brent (Gail) and Donald; three grandchildren, Zoe, Luke and Mollie; two great-grandchildren, Pierce and Lane; brothers, Lawrence, Ross (Jan) and Bill (Helena); sisters, Muriel, Nelda, Shirley (Harry), Gwen (Paul) along with numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Louise; his parents, Garnet and Mary; his sisters, Joyce and Marie. Clifford was born in North Battleford, SK and raised on the family farm near Delmas, SK. He served in the RCAF during the last portion of World War II and then went on to work in the construction industry for the remainder of his working life and retired in 1988. A private Service of Remembrance and interment was held. A Memorial Mass for Clifford will be celebrated at St. Gerard’s Catholic Church (8944 Elbow Drive SW) on Saturday, September 28, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. All those who wish to remember Clifford are welcome to attend.
