<div itemprop="description">SPENCER, Dorothy May (nee Rutledge)<br />1920 - 2016<br /><br />Spencer Dorothy May (nee Rutledge), aged 95 years, passed away on February 18, 2016 at Extendicare Cedars Villa nursing home in Calgary, AB. <br /><br />Dorothy was born on February 24, 1920 in Saskatoon, SK to John and Ada Rutledge. She met William Spencer in Hardisty and they were married on December 12, 1947. Dorothy was a member of The Eastern Star for 74 years. <br /><br />Dorothy is survived by her loving niece Dorothy Fuge of Haines, Oregon, her great-niece Sherri Eitel of Corpus Christi, Texas; her great-grandniece and her great-great-niece and nephew; as well as her guardian Kathleen Cook of Calgary AB. She was predeceased by her sister Florence. <br /><br />Relatives and friends are invited to a Memorial Gathering on Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at Extendicare Cedars Villa Nursing Home (3330 - 8th Ave SW) at 2:30 p.m. Much gratitude to Extendicare Cedars Villa Nursing Home for their help and support.
