October 12, 1911 - August 3, 2016
Mildred, beloved wife of the late Philip Tretwold, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at the age of 104.
Mildred leaves to mourn her loss her nieces, Joan and Judy; her nephews, Sunny, Sim and Perry McMillan and their families; countless other relatives; her caretaker Keith and numerous special friends. Besides her loving husband Philip, Mildred was predeceased by her brothers Alex and Jim McMillan of Rosebud and John McMillan of Brooks; her niece Lavina and nephews Jim and Fred McMillan, as well as her sister-in-law Edith McMillan of Drumheller.
Mildred was born and raised in Alberta. She spent several years in the Munson, Drumheller area before coming to Calgary in 1935. Her devoted and dedicated life reached out to many needy hearts as Mildred assisted her husband in Gospel work.
Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at Eastside City Church (1320 Abbeydale Drive S.E.) at 2:00 P.M. Interment to follow at Mountain View Memorial Gardens (1515 - 100 St S.E.).
If friends so desire, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Glad Tidings Arctic Missions Society, c/o Church of Immanuel, 1512 1 St SW, Calgary AB T2R 0W2.
