With great sorrow we regret to inform all that Iris Marion Enns (Handy Andy, Auntie Ann, Grandma), beloved wife of Gerry Enns (deceased) and mom to Debbie and David, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 23, 2014 at 6:00 p.m. and is now reunited with family and friends in Heaven. Thanks from our family for all the support and prayers during this trying time. May God grant Iris’ soul rest and may all her wishes be fulfilled ... and may God help anyone who has a need in Heaven because there mom will be, in the thick of things, helping if she can :). Iris is survived by her brother Geoff Setchfield; niece Jackie Caring; and longtime elementary school friend Phylis, all residing in England. She was predeceased by her brothers, Denzil Hamilton Setchfield, Howard Percival Setchfield and sisters, Glenys Muriel Hayward, Gwenhilda Blodwen Stead, Olive Lynda Andrews, Elizabeth Margaret Nesta Ruckert and, finally, her little brother John whom God called home at 3 years old. Friends and relatives are invited to a Visitation on Monday, March 3, 2014 at St. Stephens Anglican Church (1121-14 Ave SW) at 12:00 p.m., followed by Iris’ Funeral Service at 1:00 p.m. at the same location, open to all who wish to celebrate her life. If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made in Iris’ memory to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Alberta, the Wheelchair Basketball Association, the Salvation Army, or to the Mennonite Central Committee. Memories and condolences may be shared with the family by visiting leydens.com .
