<div itemprop="description">BAROLDI, Ivy Pearl (nee Nerland)<br />1930 - 2016<br /><br /><br />Ivy Baroldi, aged 86 years, passed away peacefully on April 9, 2016, at the Rockyview General Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. <br /><br />Ivy was born on April 2, 1930 in Gleichen, AB to Ivor and Pearl Nerland. She grew up there, graduating from Cluny Bow Valley high school in 1947. Ivy met George Taylor in Gleichen and they were married in 1948. She later married Alf Baroldi in 1973. She enjoyed gardening, cats, cooking and watching sports. <br /><br />Ivy is survived by her sons, Lynn Taylor, Dale Taylor (Sandy) and Kevin Baroldi; four grandchildren, Tanya Campbell (Craig), Tracy Phillips (Ryan), Devin Dunlop (Jackie) and Cassandra White-Baroldi (John); six great-grandchildren, Joel, Owen and Lane Campbell, Carson and Cash Phillips and Rhea Mallyon; as well as her two sisters, Dora Brown and Thelma Cooper. She was predeceased by her daughter Darlene, her three brothers and two sisters. <br /><br />Relatives and friends are invited to a Visitation on Monday, April 18, 2016 at LEYDEN&rsquo;S CHAPEL OF REMEMBRANCE (corner of 17th Avenue &amp; 2nd Street SW) from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. <br />Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at the same location at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Eden Brook Memorial Gardens (17th Avenue SW at Lower Springbank Road). If friends so desire, donations may be made to The Alberta Lung Association, www.ab.lung.ca.</div>
