<div itemprop="description">DEWAR, Jean<br />December 1, 1925 - August 29, 2015<br /><br /><br /><br />Jean passed away at the Peter Lougheed Centre, after a short battle with cancer. <br /><br />Born in Trail, B.C., Jean was a hardworking woman and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She was known for her love of hockey, crossword puzzles and her game shows.<br /><br />Left to mourn Jean are her daughter Heather of Victoria, B.C., daughter Sara (David) of Calgary, son Duncan (Joanne) of Carstairs; her grandchildren, Alexandra, Nathaniel, Elizabeth, Alexander, Colin, Victoria and Angus. She will also be remembered by her brother Alex (Sharon) of Victoria, as well as many nieces and nephews. Jean was predeceased by her husband Colin in 2005, her parents, brother James, sisters Betty and Sandra, and stepfather. <br /><br />At Jean&rsquo;s request no formal Service will be held.
