Quinn, Myrna Ellen Johnson
June 30, 1927 - February 19, 2017

“Here’s to Life! I’ve had a Great one. Thank you, Lord. Born to George and Bess Johnson with brothers, Al and Ross, sister, Rita, I was raised in a loving family with grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins by the dozens.

I was married to a remarkable man, Donald J. Quinn, for thirty seven years. We raised twelve caring and generous children, Kate, Jim, George, Marian, Terry, Liz, Trish, Marty, John, Patrick, Joe, Dan, and welcomed many #13s. The “Outlaws” John, Sandra, Pat T, Roley, John, David, Diania, Laura, Janette, Trudy, Renee, and Michael and Sarah’s mother, Martina, have been a source of great joy along with grandchildren David, Brendan, Addison, Michael, Rebecca (Paul), Sarah, Taylor (Andy), Molly, Evelyn, Alyssa, Colleen, Rachel, Shannon, Kevin, Will, Scarlett, Thomas, Claire, Harlow, my grandchildren’s partners, and great- grandson, Max.

I enjoyed special times with my Friday friends, Anne, Dolores, Donna, Jane, Shirley, Tilly and Anna. Thank you all for your love and laughter.

I am grateful for the medical team who cared for me these past 6 years, Drs. Bahlis, Neri, Botha and Charboneau along with caregivers Daisy, Lorina, Classic LifeCare, AHS Home Care and Palliative Care Team.“

Myrna was born in Hammond, Indiana, raised in Marktown, Indiana, moved to Midland, Texas with Don, and then to Calgary in 1963.
