He is survived by his mother Anne, six siblings, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father James in 2009. Walter was an employee of Canada Post for many years. <br /><br />A Memorial gathering will be held on Friday, December 18, 2015 at LEYDEN&rsquo;S CHAPEL OF REMEMBRANCE (corner of 17th Avenue &amp; 2nd Street SW) from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to the Calgary Humane Society.<br /><br /></div>
