She loved cooking, especially old fashioned Chinese food. One of her happiest times was preparing traditional treats every Saturday when many of her children and grand-children come over for ritual weekly gatherings. She considered her sole purpose of life, and her greatest achievement in life, was bringing up her children and setting them to the paths of success.

The family wish to thank the wonderful staff at the Foothills Hospital and Fanning Vernon Care center for their care and compassion during Ying’s last months.
