He was a loving father to his children, Marina (Bruce) Cathcart, Marc (Karen Shewchuk) Jacobs and Evan Jacobs and loving Pappa to his precious granddaughters, Addison and Whitney Cathcart. Brock is also survived by his siblings and their families, Arden (Mary Priestner) Jacobs, Dariel (Keith Shirk) Jacobs, Gavin (Loreen) Jacobs, Greg Jacobs; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, the Colvin and Cameron families, dearest friends and his “football” family. Brock was born in Red Deer in 1951 and called Calgary home turf where he attended school, played all sports, worked and raised a family. He was well known in the sporting goods industry and on the football field. Brock coached hundreds of children for over forty years at all levels of minor football in Calgary and was Administrator of numerous teams and programs within the football community. He was a lifetime Calgary Stampeder ticket holder, enjoyed golf, the Boston Red Sox, NY Rangers and cutting the lawn. Brock was well respected and well-loved and will be truly missed.
