<div itemprop="description">LAQUA, David Frank <br>July 11, 1939 - November 1, 2016 <br> <br>David Frank Laqua passed away peacefully in South Health Campus on November 1, 2016 in Calgary, Alberta at the age of 77 surrounded by his loving family. <br><br>David was born on July 11, 1939 in Lethbridge, Alberta to Emil and Isabel (Little) Laqua. David grew up in Foremost, Alberta moving to Calgary, Alberta in 1990 where he resided until his passing. He enjoyed spending time outside in all elements and listening to music of all varieties. <br><br>David was preceded in death by his mother Isabel, his father Emil, his brother Chris and his nephew Curtis. David is survived by his sister Elizabeth (Bob) Burns of Calgary, Alberta, his nieces Jane (Todd) Nicol of Houston, Texas, Jeanne (Brad) Simanton of Calgary, Alberta, Jeannine (Richard) Unser of Foremost, Alberta, Heather (Shane) Butterwick of Langdon, Alberta, and Suzette (Miles) Liversidge of Vancouver, British Columbia, his nephew Brent (Gina) Laqua of Edmonton, Alberta, caregiver Elaine Hagemann, and many grandnieces, grandnephews, other relatives and friends. <br><br>A Memorial Service will be held on November 12, 2016 at the Senior Citizens Recreation Centre (103-1st Avenue East, Foremost, AB) at 1:00 p.m., with Graveside service to follow. The family would like to extend a thank-you to the staff in ICU/CCU, South Health Campus for their support and care of David. <br><br>If friends so desire, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations in David’s memory are welcome at Inglewood Art and Music School, 1401 10th Ave SE, C/O Lantern Community Church; for further information please contact Edward Top or Michelle Gritter at 1-403-261-4647.</div>
