ANDERSON, Esther Rosalie (nee Kingsfield)
August 20, 1920 - Dahinda, Saskatchewan
September 18, 2014 - Calgary, Alberta
With great sadness, we announce that Esther passed away at the age of 94, in the Calgary Foothills Medical Centre, with her family by her side.
Esther is survived by her son Ron (Linda) Grange; daughters, Lorna (Gene) Nicol, and Ardella (Jerry) Littman; seven grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
Esther was an LPN during most of her working years. She was generous, kind, dedicated to her family and to her church. She had many talents, including being a wonderful cook, gardening, quilting, knitting and many crafts. She loved to make things and give them away. Esther was a woman of courage, tenacity and unwavering faith. We will miss her love and friendship, and her physical presence in our lives. We know that her advice, wisdom and the consistent example she was of a life well-lived will continue to influence her family and those who knew and loved her.
Funeral Service will be held on Friday, September 26, 2014 at CALGARY CENTRAL SDA Church (1920 - 13 Ave NW) at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Rocky View Garden of Peace. Memories and condolences may be shared with the family by visiting leydens.com .
