John Nadurak passed away peacefully after enjoying a steak dinner with his youngest son, Brad, and his family and wife Betty.
John was born in St. Paul in 1932, moving to Thorhild, AB at the age of four with his family, to farm. John left the farm at age 18, and began his career in the oil industry which spanned 54 good years. He married the love of his life, Betty, on November 7, 1959.
Besides Betty, his wife of 56 years, John is survived by his sons, Brian (Tammie) of Dallas, TX and Bradley (Kelley) of Calgary; daughter Barbara (Ken) Lewis of Bangkok, Thailand; three grandsons, Warren, Mac and Zac; one granddaughter Alyssa and one step granddaughter Sydney.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2016 at St. Peter’s Anglican Church (903 - 75 Ave SW) at 3:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes may be made to the Alberta Children’s Hospital (www.calgaryhealthregion.ca/ACH ) or Stars (www.stars.ca).
