She married Melvin Todd on June 12, 1954 and had four children. Mel and Marg moved to Calgary in 1961 where they lived the rest of their lives. Margaret stayed home and raised her children until the youngest was in school and then in 1970 went to work. In 1985 she quit her job to begin what she considered the most rewarding position of her lifetime, babysitting her grandchildren.

Margaret enjoyed gardening and loved the birds and squirrels that her yard attracted. She took great pleasure in crocheting afghans for the Children’s Hospital in hopes of helping a sick child feel a little bit better. She enjoyed people and had many good friends. A loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, she will be greatly missed.

Margaret is survived by her daughters, Rhonda Morgan and Rita Todd (Ken), of Quesnel, BC; her grandchildren, Stacy (Clint) Britton and Matthew Todd; her great-grandchildren, Ember & Aura Britton; and one brother, Len Homulos of Kelowna, BC. Besides her loving husband, Margaret was predeceased by two sons, Rodney and Ryon, and three brothers.

Margaret requested no funeral service and no flowers. She will be cremated and interred with her husband at Eden Brook Memorial Gardens in Calgary. Memories and condolences may be shared with the family by visiting leydens.com .
