<div itemprop="description">SMRDELY, Tamara <br>October 7, 1926 - October 12, 2016 <br> <br>Tamara was born in Belarus and immigrated to Canada, settling in Lethbridge. There she married and started her family. The family moved to Calgary in 1958. Tamara worked as a seamstress. She loved singing, dancing, music; she loved to be with people. Tamara was much loved and will be deeply missed. <br><br>Predeceased by her husband Ivan Smrdelj, her son Dennis Smrdely, her borther Ivan Marutkyn and sister Anna Marutkin, Tamara is survived by her daughter Darlene Smrdely; four nieces and nephews, Vera Caldwell-Abrey, David Marutkyn, Anna Marutkyn and John (LeAnn) Marutkyn; as well as two grandnieces, Amy (Gary) Hume, Hailey Marutkyn; three grandnephews Vincent (Chandel) Caldwell, Jacen Abrey and Carter Marutkyn and a great-grandniece Brooklyn Caldwell. <br><br>Tamara was blessed with wonderful care through the years. We wish to express our deepest gratitude.<br><br>Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects on Thursday, October 20, 2016 at Leyden’s Chapel of Remembrance (corner of 17th Avenue & 2nd St SW) from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. <br><br>Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 21, 2016 at St. Anthony’s Parish (5340 - 4 Street SW) at 10:30 a.m. <br><br>Interment to follow at Mountain View Cemetery, Lethbridge at 3:00 p.m.</div>
