It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beloved Dad and Grandpa William "Bill" Bruch.
Bill was predeceased by Maria "Martha" Bruch, his wife of 64 years, in 2013. He is survived by their five children, David (Linda), Alan (Brenda), Henry (Maureen), Sylvia (Ernie) Restau, and Cynthia (Troy) Rothel, as well as four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Dad was predeceased by his parents and all four siblings.
Bill was born in Killaly, SK and grew up in Flat Valley, SK. Mom and Dad moved to Calgary in 1949 and lived for over fifty years in Wildwood raising their family.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Michael’s Catholic Community (805 - 85 St SW) on Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at 11:00 a.m.
Thank you to the staff at Carewest Colonel Belcher for their care and compassion and a Special Thanks to Dad's buddy Les McKee for his friendship. In lieu of flowers, donations in Bill's memory may be made to your local Veterans Food Bank, The Calgary Drop-In Centre, or to the Colonel Belcher Vet's Angels.
